As a branch of the National Association of University Women, we implement the Association's national program priorities while responding to the needs and opportunities within Prince George's County and surrounding communities.
We promote educational achievement and lifelong learning through programs, workshops, scholarships, and initiatives that support learners and advance educational opportunities.
We support literacy and educational initiatives that help children, youth, adults, and families develop the knowledge and skills needed to thrive.
We promote awareness, education, and healthy living while supporting initiatives that address the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of women, youth, and families.
We encourage informed civic participation and provide opportunities for members and community residents to increase their awareness of issues affecting our communities.
We recognize the vital role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities in educating and developing future leaders. We support initiatives that strengthen awareness, engagement, and opportunities connected to HBCUs.
We foster meaningful relationships among women through fellowship, professional development, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and service.
Through these program areas, the Prince George's County Branch develops and supports initiatives that address local needs and create opportunities for women, youth, families, and the broader community.
