The Prince George’s County Branch of the National Association of University Women (NAUW) isn’t just an organization; it is a movement of visionary women. Founded on December 7, 2025, by 36 dedicated charter members, our branch was born from a shared desire to amplify our impact within one of the nation’s most vibrant, influential communities.
While we are a new branch, our roots run deep. We are an extension of a century-long legacy of leadership, and we are actively shaping a future where education, equity, and empowerment aren't just goals—they are our daily practice.

Our mission is to advance the educational, professional, and community development of women while championing the leadership, scholarship, and service that strengthen families and communities across Prince George’s County.
